Rides, Fun, Games, Food, its all inside and it only happens
6 days a year. Where is this you ask, the Columbus County
Fair! The 2008 Columbus County Fair will be the 29th annual
Fair. From food to rides, concerts to exhibits, and more, the
fair is a full day's worth of fun. Come check it out for
yourself, Tuesday

Where else can you see animals and exhibits, play games, ride

Also be sure to check out the events at the
track like the Demolition Derby. The spectators see showers of
sparks, smell burning rubber and hear the din of crumpling
metal as the manic contestants bash each other to smithereens.
So we invite you to attend our car crashing action at the
Columbus County Fair Grounds. Our hard hitting derbies offer
fun and excitement for children and adults of all ages.
The Four Wheeler and Garden Tractor Pulls are now on
same date, and this year we have round
track Lawnmower racing. Don't miss the Hot Rods of the yard and
garden.

The Parade Marshals for this year are Ed
Miller and Clark Valentine with Southeastern Farm Equipment
(formerly V&M Supply) Their continued support and
participation has helped to make the Columbus County
Fair so successful.

COLUMBUS COUNTY “YOUTH IN
ACTION”
The Columbus County Fair will feature a
second stage for entertainment this year that will showcase
the talent of the county’s youth. Singers, dancers, bands,
comedy, drama, martial arts and more will be presented by
teenagers and young adults. The “Youth In Action” stage will
open nightly at 6:30 pm. It is located to
the right of the front gate near the Livestock building.
