TALENT
COMPETITION RULES
Competition age groups will be 5 & under, 6-8, 9-12, 13-15, 16
& older. Solos or
groups, (no heavy metal or acid rock). Final registration will
be Sept. 23. NO EXCEPTIONS.
One parent or guardian will be allowed admission to the
fairgrounds with each contestant under 16 years of age.
Admission to the fairgrounds is for talent competition only
and does not include admission to the rides. Any contact
between contestants, parents or guardians and judges is
strictly forbidden. Decisions of the judges is final. All
participants will be judged according to their age levels and
grade levels, with Level V reserved for college and above. All contestants are
required to be responsible for music and props. Each performer
(or group) will have a maximum time limit of 3 minutes.
