K-1 Best Costume – Dogs Only

K-2 Best Costume – Dog and Handler

K-3 Smallest Dog K-4 Largest Dog

K-5 Longest Ears

K-6 Most Spots

K-7 Best Trick

K-8 Hot Dog Race – Dachshunds only. (Dog must run to owner)

K-9 Novice Showmanship – Best behaved on leash / sit / stay

K-10 Move Star Look-a-Like

K-11 Musical Chairs – Dog sits when music stops. Last dog standing is eliminated.

RULES

1. Any youth or adult living in Columbus County or surrounding areas can enter.

2. Each dog must have current inoculations for rabies, distemper, hepatitis and parvovirus.

3. All dogs must be KEPT ON LEASH AND UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES.

4. Children and adults must stay with dogs.

5. Dogs and handlers will enter ring only when their classes are called.

6. An adult must accompany children under the age of twelve.

7. A dog may not enter more than three (3) categories.

8. No female dog in season will be permitted to enter the arena.

9. No dogs will be allowed except those participating in events.

10. Dogs should be kept six (6) feet apart.

11. Columbus County Fair is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur in            connection with this show.

12. Any dog or handler not conforming to the rules outlined for this show will be removed  from the arena for safety of all others concerned.

13. Entry will be $7.00 per pet and handler. This includes handler admission to the fair for    the day.
